Chicken and Broccoli Casserole

Broccoli and Chicken Casserole

Total Time:
350 degrees for 30-35 minutes after all ingredients are put together for casserole

Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 bag of broccoli florettes
1 cup of mayonnaise
1 cup of sour cream
1 cup of cream of chicken soup
3/4-1 cup of mild shreded cheddar cheese
2 slices of bread toasted and cut into tiny bite size pieces

Directions:
Cook 4 chicken breasts on 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes, or until done and no longer pink. Cut up cooked chicken into bite size pieces. Boil one small bag of frozen broccoli florettes. Drain when finished. Take one cup of cream of chicken soup, one cup of mayonnaise, and one cup of sour cream. Mix the soup, mayonnaise, and sour cream together in a bowl. Melt ½ tablespoon of butter and pour into bottom of corning wear baking dish. Layer bottom of dish with cooked broccoli. Place cooked chicken pieces on top of broccoli. Place soup, mayonnaise, and sour cream mixture over the chicken. Layer the top of the casserole with ¾ to 1 cup of mild shredded cheddar cheese. Toast a few pieces of white bread. Tear toast into bite size toast crumbs. Place toast crumbs over the cheese. Bake chicken and broccoli casserole on 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until cheese is melted.
