NEWPORT CROSSING ITEMS OF INTEREST
Here are some topics of interest for Newport Crossing Homeowners.
The Community pool has been open for several weeks and everyone should be familiar with the rules. Several members have noticed that some children are not being supervised by an adult. One of our pool rules are: “Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Children ages 14 to 17 cannot be responsible for younger children”. Please, do not allow any child who is under 14 years of age, to go to our pool supervised by another child, who is 17 years of age or under.
For those who use our tennis courts, we are asking that you “lower” the nets after play. This helps to take the strain off the support posts.
As we are coming into the election season, the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions prohibit the use of signs on any property except for signs that advertise the sale or rent of a residence. Please do not allow any political signs to be put on your property. If you have any questions about our CC&R, please contact our management company Hometown Property Management, LLC. (615) 975-9570.
Some residents have noticed some youths that were roaming throughout our community. They were looking for any garage doors that were open, so they could go inside looking for items to remove. Please, do not leave your garage doors open when you cannot observe them, and do not leave them open when you are away from your residence.
The City of Spring Hill has revised its web page and added a 911 heading so residents can view all 911 calls that are handled by the City. The City is looking into various plans to improve several of the City’s roads in the near future. If you have any interests in these proposed projects you can contact Ward 3 Alderman Rick Graham and his email address is aldermangraham@gmail.com.
